Chief Dan Orbih, Edo State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), on Wednesday described Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu’s candidature as the political redeemer of Edo people, calling on the voters in the state to stand behind him.
Chief Orbih who was reflecting on the party’s flag-off which, he
described as ground breaking ceremony that shook the Edo State capital
to its foundation last Monday, said that the choice of Ize-Iyamu to
return PDP to power in Edo State was because the party membership was
fully conscious of the cries of the people, especially the plight of
teachers and the army of unemployed youths.
Chief Orbih said that Ize-Iyamu as the governorship candidate of PDP is aimed at redeeming Edo people, including the youths, women, teachers, pensioners and the unemployed.
“They should be rest assured that come November 2016 with a PDP governor in office, the change that will enhance Edo fortunes will be enthroned,” he said.
