The Nigerian leader going on board a plane out of Abuja to his hometown in Katsina, northern Nigeria, where he is expected to spend the weekend.
The federal government has approved Tuesday and Wednesday, July 5 and 6 for the celebration of Eid-el-Fitr festival to end the Ramadan fast annually observed by Muslim faithful all over the world.
It is not unlikely that President Buhari has decided to go to his Daura hometown to spend the weekend, and may be expected back at the federal capital territory to continue with official duties after the weekend.
