Fulani herdsmen have been blamed for carrying out attacks on communities across the country.
The Njiya-Goron community of Adamawa state is threatening to wage war with Fulani herdsmen to check continuing attacks on its people.
The chairman of the community, Manassah Nayangom in a statement in Yola on Monday, July 4 said the incessant attacks by herdsmen on the community which had claimed several lives and destroyed properties, have left the community with no option than to fight back since authorities had failed to contain the herdsmen’s attacks.
According to Premium Times, the chairman of the community, which comprised 13 villages, said the community had so far lost 65 people and property woarth over N2 billion.
